The primary mission of Kitimat Fire & Rescue Services is to provide a range of services to the people of Kitimat. These services are designed to protect against the impact of fires, medical emergencies, accidents, and disasters that are both natural and man made.

Kitimat Fire & Rescue Services is committed to providing the best possible fire, rescue, and ambulance service. This commitment will be achieved by meeting community needs through cooperation, teamwork and life-long learning. Kitimat Fire & Rescue Services is an organization that is focused on the needs of those it serves.
