It's Time To Take A Stand; Are You Man Enough?

The District of Kitimat Leisure Services Department, Northern Health, and The Kitimat Health Unit are once again teaming up to deliver a health and wellness campaign.

This time we are looking for all the men. It is time for men in the north to stand up to preventable disease. Did you know that men in the north die from preventable types of disease and illness such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer at a higher rate than men in other parts of BC?

This is a trend that must stop for the sake of ourselves, our families, our children and grandchildren.

Remember real men wear gowns: that's right, medical gowns!

For medical screening see your doctor. For prevention activities call Cori and her team of fitness and lifestyle specialists at Riverlodge: 250-632-8970.
