Recycling

Encorp Pacific (Canada) operates the Kitimat Bottle Depot at 428 Enterprise Avenue. Beverage containers (including beer), and milk containers can be recycled between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Thursday; and 9am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday. The Bottle Depot is closed on Sunday.

Recyclables other than beverage containers, including: paper, cardboard, tin, aluminum nickel cadmium, lithium and alkaline batteries and cell phones; can be delivered to the Kitimat Recycling Depot at 316 Railway Avenue. The Recycling Depot is operated by KUTE (Kitimat Understanding the Environment), and is open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday; and 11am to 4pm on Saturday. The Depot is closed Sunday.
