Community Services

Community services in Kitimat are provided by provincial and federal agencies and non-profit organizations. Some non-profit groups receive limited financial support from Kitimat Council under the Municipal grant program.

Kitimat Community Services Society (KCSS) maintains a comprehensive index of social resources and services.  To make information about local and regional social services more accessible a brochure was printed in December 2009.
