Public Hearing - Planning Fee Review

A Public Hearing will be held on Monday, December 16 at 7:30 pm at Council Chambers, 606 Mountainview Square to consider proposed changes to the Kitimat Municipal Code regarding Planning Permit Fees regulations.

What is it?

The District of Kitimat charges fees for a number of different applications. The fees are to partially cover direct expenses and staff time required to process applications. Planning Fees are set in the Kitimat Municipal Code.

What Changes?

Planning Permit Fees were last updated in 1990. This bylaw updates Fees to cover increases in advertising costs and staff costs.

You may also speak in person, or deliver written comment, at the Public Hearing held Monday, December 16 at 7:30 pm at Northwest Community College, 606 Mountainview Square, Council Chambers, or deliver written comment by email until 4:30 pm on Monday, December 16.
