Water main flushing program extended through July
The water main flushing program is being extended, and is now expected to end at the end of July. During this time you may notice discoloured water. If you do, please run your taps until it returns clear. If your water remains discoloured please contact the District at 250-632-8900. Thank you for your patience during this work.

The District of Kitimat invites proposals for the purpose of operating the food concession in the Tamitik Arena.
The concession facility consists of over-the-counter food service in the area off the upper concourse in the Tamitik Arena (± 32 ft x ± 22 ft)

District crews are repairing a traffic light at the intersection of Tsimshian and Haisla Boulevard today, June 10.
During this work, there will be no left turn onto Haisla Boulevard from Tsimshian, and motorists will be detoured up Haisla Boulevard instead.

Until further notice, the District of Kitimat water system is under a Water Quality Advisory. Northern Health recommends that children, pregnant women, the elderly and persons with weakened immune systems drink boiled water at this time.
All owners of public premises must make patrons aware of this Water Quality Advisory.
