March 20, 2020 - The District of Kitimat is taking the threat of COVID-19 very seriously. We are closely monitoring virus developments.

The District has enacted proactive operational measures to mitigate and minimize the potential transmission of COVID-19. Some of the key mitigations that have been enacted include:

March 20, 2020 – In order to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, District of Kitimat playgrounds are closed to the public until further notice.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we all have to do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 and stay safe.
