Kuldo Boulevard Road Closure

MARCH 15, 2021 – Kuldo Blvd (Kuldo extension) is closed today, between Nalabila Blvd and Haisla Blvd, due to repairs. Work is expected to be completed by 4:30 p.m. Please use alternative routes during this time. Access remains open to businesses at the Kuldo/Haisla intersection.

PUBLIC NOTICE: High Streamflow Advisory

HIGH STREAMFLOW ADVISORY
February 19, 2021 – The Provincial River Forecast Centre has issued a “High Streamflow Advisory” for the Kitimat Valley. A combination of rising temperatures and heavy rainfall is expected later tonight and tomorrow which may cause water levels in the Kitimat River to rise. The Kitimat River can rise quickly and without warning. The public is advised to use extreme caution if engaged in activities near the river.

Haisla Bridge Project Traffic Impacts

February 19, 2021 – Clearing work for the Haisla Bridge Replacement Project will be conducted Monday to Saturday from February 22, 2021 to March 22, 2021.
Please expect single lane alternating traffic with full traffic stoppages in both directions between 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during times of work.
