Water Quality Advisory Lifted

KITIMAT, BC – Effective November 21, 2019 at 10:15 a.m., the District of Kitimat in consultation with Northern Health, jointly lifted the Water Quality Advisory that was issued on November 18 for all users of the municipal water system.
The advisory was issued due to elevated turbidity levels, which have returned to normal.

KITIMAT, BC - Effective November 18, 2019, the District of Kitimat water system is under a Water Quality Advisory. Northern Health recommends that children, pregnant women, the elderly and persons with weakened immune systems drink boiled water at this time.
All owners of public premises must make patrons aware of this Water Quality Advisory.
