KITIMAT, BC - On November 6th the District of Kitimat and the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce will be partnering to conduct the 2018 Kitimat Business Walk.
A group of volunteers will canvas local businesses between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. to collect information on the present economic climate that local businesses are operating in, as well as efforts the community can undertake to improve the local economy. Fourteen northern British Columbia mayors, representing communities that will be significantly affected by the development of the proposed LNG Canada project, have released an open letter to Mr. Sawyer of Smithers, B.C. and the West Coast Environmental Law Association.
