Due to a power outage affecting areas of Kitimat, the Kuldo and Haisla Boulevard traffic control lights are currently out of service. Temporary traffic control is being established, and motorists are reminded to treat this area as a four-way stop. Thank you for your patience until the power is restored.

Following the release of a new Provincial Health Order, starting March 11, 2022, masks are no longer required in indoor public spaces.  While masks will still be available for those who choose to wear them, they will not be required when entering any District facility.  This includes City Hall, Public Works, Tamitik Jubilee Sports Complex, and Riverlodge Recreation Centre.
