Radley Park Boat Launch Open

August 3, 2018 – The Radley Park boat launch has been repaired and is now open. Please use caution and safe boating practices, and remember to always wear a life jacket when on the Kitimat River.

Dogs Off Leash

July 26, 2018 – The District of Kitimat would like to remind the public that dogs are required to be on leash and under owner’s care and control at all times within the Kitimat townsite. There have been an increasing number of complaints regarding off-leash dogs and out of care and control dogs causing issues for others. Areas within Kitimat where dogs are allowed off-leash at the owner’s risk are Hirsch Creek Park and the Dyke Road.
