SEWER LINE FLUSHING AND CAMERA WORK
August 25, 2022 – The District of Kitimat is currently undergoing sewer line flushing and camera work in the Service Centre, Whitesail and Nechako neighborhoods. Work will start today, August 25, and is expected to be completed by September 4.

The District of Kitimat is excited to announce the opening of 11 new electrical campsites at Radley Park. Category 2/3 open fire ban starting on Thursday July 28

Starting 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 28, the District of Kitimat will implement a Category 2 and Category 3 open burning prohibition. Open fires are anything larger than allowed backyard fire pits in Kitimat, which are one metre by one metre in size, or 1.5 metres in certain neighbourhoods.
