The addition of a housing allowance as part of the Healthcare Recruitment and Retention Incentive program means that eligible professionals can either receive up to three months of rent or a single, lump-sum payment to support the purchase of a house. October 24 Water Quality Advisory has been lifted

UPDATE:

As of October 27, this Water Quality Advisory has been lifted.

Effective Friday, October 24, the District of Kitimat water system is under a Water Quality Advisory, due to elevated turbidity in the Kitimat River.

Northern Health recommends that children, persons who are pregnant, the elderly and persons with weakened immune systems drink boiled water at this time.

All owners of public premises must make patrons aware of this Water Quality Advisory.
