KULDO EXTENSION CLOSURE EXTENDED
November 3, 2021 – Kuldo Extension roadwork will continue from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4. The road will be closed during that time, but will reopen after 1:00 p.m.
Rosario’s Restaurant and the Microtel can still be accessed from Haisla Blvd.

FREE TRANSIT ON SEPTEMBER 30th
September 29, 2021 – In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the District of Kitimat and BC Transit will be offering free public transit service on September 30, 2021.
Free transit will be available on routes 1 Whitesail, 2 Nechako, 3 Kildala, 4 Crosstown, and 12 Kitamaat Village. The free service also extends to handyDART.

WATER QUALITY ADVISORY CONTINUED
September 24, 2021- The Water Quality Advisory that was issued for the District of Kitimat water system on September 22nd remains in effect until further notice.
Northern Health recommends that children, pregnant women, the elderly and persons with weakened immune systems drink boiled water at this time.
The Water Quality Advisory was issued to all users of the Kitimat Community Water System due to elevated turbidity levels in the source water...
