Traffic notice for portion of Haisla Boulevard

From Tuesday, September 10 until Friday, September 13, expect single-lane alternating traffic on a portion of Haisla Boulevard, between Kuldo Boulevard and Lahakas Boulevard.
This work will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each of the days.
Water service disruption for Service Centre, September 4

UPDATE: Water in the Service Centre is restored. As water returns to the system, properties within the Service Centre are encouraged to run their water to remove any air or dirty water.
Due to a water main break, water is off to the Service Centre while repairs are underway.
At this time there is no estimated time for when the repair will be completed. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Traffic delays on Gyrfalcon Ave from September 3 and 4

Starting Tuesday, September 03 to Wednesday, September 04 there will be single-lane alternating traffic along the intersection of Gyrfalcon Avenue and Lahakas Boulevard from 7am to 7pm due to road repairs.
Expect up to 20 minute delays if taking this route. Please allow adequate time to reach your destination if driving.
Campfire Ban Lifted August 28

Kitimat, BC — Starting at noon on Wednesday, August 28, campfires and backyard fires will be allowed in the District of Kitimat.
This joins the lifting of campfire bans in the Northwest Fire Centre.
Category 3 Open Fires remain prohibited.
