Leisure Pool Temporarily Re-opened, Closed Tomorrow

JANUARY 14, 2021 – The leisure pool at the Sam Lindsay Aquatic Centre is open today, however, it will be closed on Friday, January 15 for maintenance. The main swimming pool and hot tub remain open to the public. Overall capacity of the aquatic centre is 40 patrons when the leisure pool is open and 30 patrons when it is closed.

January 13, 2021 – Due to a mechanical issue, the leisure pool at the Sam Lindsay Aquatic Centre is closed. The leisure pool is expected to re-open this Saturday. The main swimming pool and hot tub remain open to the public. During this time, overall capacity in the aquatic centre has been reduced to 30 patrons.

Haisla Bridge Maintenance

January 11, 2021 – Work is being conducted on the Haisla Bridge today between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Traffic will be limited to one lane during this time.

Minette Bay West Park Closed

January 7, 2021 – Effective immediately, Minette Bay West Park is closed to the public due to subdivision construction impacting park access through Strawberry Meadows.

The closure is expected to last into early spring. A re-opening date will be provided when available.
