March 23, 2020 - In recent response to COVID-19, many people have opted to purchase ‘flushable’ antiseptic wipes or similar products.Please, do not flush these items down the toilet. These products should be disposed of in your regular garbage.These products do not disintegrate as quickly as regular toilet paper, and have been responsible for numerous clogged sewers in North America.Thank you for doing your part in helping prevent clogged sewers in Kitimat.Attachments

Changes to BC Transit in Kitimat Due to COVID-19 Threat

March 20, 2020 – BC Transit, the District of Kitimat and local transit staff are continuing to work to ensure there is service on the road for customers who need to get to work, including to health care facilities, and going out for groceries or other needs.
BC Transit is implementing rear door boarding to enhance social distancing for drivers and passengers. Passengers can still load through the front door if they require use of the ramp or other accessible features of the bus.
