Christmas and New Years Day is just around the corner, and that means there will be a slight change to curbside waste collection on those days.

If you normally get your waste picked up on Thursdays, your collection will be the day before, on Wednesday. This means:

  • Thursday, December 25 becomes a Wednesday, December 24 pick-up day.
  • Thursday, January 1 becomes a Wednesday, December 31 pick-up day.

The Kitimat Landfill is generally open for its regular hours too, but it will be closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
