As Kitimat’s Mayor, and on behalf of Council, I would like to reassure the community that the District of Kitimat and numerous other organizations, agencies, and individuals are all diligently working to ensure our community navigates these challenging times in a safe and steadfast manner.
The threat of COVID-19 has forced the global community to unite in altering our daily lives, in order to minimize the transmission and mitigate the negative implications of the virus. In these efforts, we are seeing unprecedented actions being taken by governments, agencies, and individuals across the world.
