A capacity building entrepreneurship event is back, supporting Kitimat’s local business leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Entrepalooza 2023 is happening Thursday, October 19 at the Hirsch Creek Golf and Winter Club, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The event is co-hosted by the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce and is being sponsored by LNG Canada, with additional support from the Kitimat Northern Sentinel.

The event will provide a casual networking opportunity for local entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners to meet with resource providers, funders, investors and learn from other established business owners in Kitimat.

“A diverse economy is a major pillar of Council’s strategic plan,” says Mayor Phil Germuth. “It’s not just about the big industry, but supporting our existing small businesses and attracting a new generation of business leaders. This event gives a place to foster a growing local business scene in Kitimat.”

Signing up also enters participants into a draw for a $1,000 grand prize that can be used for growing or starting a business in Kitimat.
