HOSPITAL BEACH WILL OFFICIALLY OPEN THIS MAY LONG WEEKEND MAY 21, 2021
THE TIDAL AREA REMAINS A CLOSED CONSTRUCTION ZONE. THE PUBLIC IS PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING THE TIDAL AREA.
Rio Tinto has been working closely with the District of Kitimat and LNG Canada to open the beach safely. If members of the public proceed beyond “Keep out – construction area” signs, and onto the tidal water area, Hospital beach will immediately be closed. Keeping out of the tidal area is for you, your family and the public’s safety. Please use the beach safely. Users must take all precautions and follow all COVID-19 health authority guidelines.
Please exercise physical distancing at all times.
