Notes from Council, April 15, 2025:

  • Council authorized entering a road use and licence and lease agreement with LNG Canada, which follows public notice, for LNG Canada’s salt marsh rectification project at Minette Bay. Council further requested that LNG Canada meet and work with an adjacent property owner on mitigating impacts during the construction project.
  • Council approved sponsorship of an upcoming Nation2Nation Women’s Gathering event in Kitimat in the amount of $2,500.
