September 13, 2021- An updated Public Health Order (PHO) is in effect as of September 13, 2021. The PHO outlines new requirements around vaccinations that municipal recreation facilities must comply with.

As a result, the Tamitik Jubilee Sports Complex and Riverlodge Recreation Centre will require proof of vaccination for some activities if you are 12 or older. If you are 19 or older, you will also need to provide one piece of government-issued photo ID. Proof of one dose is required now. By October 24, proof of two doses will be required.

Until September 26th, the following are accepted as proof of vaccination:

  • BC Vaccine Card
  • Wallet-sized immunization record card
  • Immunization record from your pharmacy or health authority
  • Immunize BC record

After September 26th, you will be required to show your BC Vaccine Card. Learn more here: www2.gov.bc.ca/vaccinecard.

Proof of Vaccination is Required for:

  • Weight room, cardio room, and gymnasium use
  • Adult drop-in activities (e.g. drop-in shinney hockey or open gym)
  • Fitness classes
  • Events of more than 50 people (e.g. swim meets, pool rentals, Riverlodge facility bookings, ticketed hockey games)
