HIGH RIVER LEVELS – RADLEY AND HIRSCH CREEK PARKS CLOSED

September 21, 2021 – Due to rising river levels and the potential of flooding, Radley Park and Hirsch Creek Park are temporarily closed until further notice. Campers are being directed to stay at the Riverlodge parking lot for the time being.

The water levels can change quickly with little warning. Additionally, high water levels can cause riverbanks to erode creating unstable ground next to the river. Take caution when approaching the Kitimat River and Hirsch Creek.  Avoid the edge of the riverbank and do not stand on land that appears to be unstable or appears to be undermined by the water levels.

Thank you for your patience.
