June 4, 2020 – The District of Kitimat is pleased to announce the opening of Radley and Hirsch Creek Parks for camping, effective June 19th at 9:00 a.m.
- Camping currently is on a first come first serve basis, no pre-reservations will be taken.
- Canadian residents will be permitted to use camping sites.
- Fees will only be accepted for up to two weeks at a time.
- Radley Park fee collection will be from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. daily at the park office.
- Hirsch Creek Park fee collection will be done once per day as schedule allows.
- Campers can pay for their site at Riverlodge, but site must be set up first.
Special COVID-19 Measures
- Campers are reminded that if they have flu like symptoms or may have been in contact with someone who has had COVID-19 in the last 14 days, do not use the parks.
- Campers are further reminded that if you have traveled outside Canada in the last 14 days you are not permitted to use the park.
- The District of Kitimat encourages all campers to use either debit or credit cards.
- Bathrooms and showers will be open for use. Radley Park will be cleaned twice per day and Hirsch Creek Park will be cleaned once per day.
- All campers are reminded to adhere to physical distancing while using the parks.
- Only campers registered for each site are permitted in site.
- All campers should pack with them necessary hygiene items required to prevent illness; such as hand sanitizer, gloves, face mask, soap (see info on Personal Protective Pack).

Radley Park: Non Electrical - $23/night Electrical - $27/night
Hirsch Creek Park: Non Electrical - $16/night
