With a potential sizeable drop of snow coming to Kitimat in the coming days, we're happy to share these important tips about managing snow in town.
  • No parking on the streets during snow clearing or overnight between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.. Otherwise you may be at risk of being towed.
  • When clearing snow on your property do not place it into the street, others' private property or onto public property including ditches.
  • Hopefully by now you have your winter tires on. They should be on for in-town driving between November 1 and March 31.
