SEWER LINE FLUSHING AND CAMERA WORK

August 25, 2022 – The District of Kitimat is currently undergoing sewer line flushing and camera work in the Service Centre, Whitesail and Nechako neighborhoods. Work will start today, August 25, and is expected to be completed by September 4. 

Please try to keep your toilets flushed and their lids closed during this time. There is potential that the high pressure flushing could impact the standing water in households.  If you smell a sewer odour, it can be eliminated by flushing your toilets and running water in all your drains.
