For property information you can use KITIMAP or BC Assessment.
In KITIMAP, use the Locate Your Property icon at the top to type in your address and then use the Layer List icon to select the information you'd like to see. Click on your property on the map and the information you requested appears.
Cemetery interment information is also available.

Zoning
Land in the District of Kitimat is divided into four groups: Residential (R), Commercial (C), Industrial (M) and Greenbelt (G). There are many zones within each group; over 40 zones in total. Each zone allows a different mix of land uses and development.

Downtown Development Permit Area
The Downtown Revitalization Area is a special Development Permit Area in Kitimat.
City Centre serves as Kitimat’s core. As community priorities are identified and economic growth occurs, opportunities will emerge to revitalize City Centre.
The Development Permit Area (DPA) has been designated to guide revitalization that is high quality in appearance, includes pedestrian qualities, makes a positive contribution to the streetscape, has a more intimate and cohesive built form, and enhances user experiences for shopping and social activities.
