Traffic Load Permit
Hauling a heavy load through town? A permit is required. Find forms under the Engineering and Building Departments section on this page, including:

- Haisla Bridge Over Weight Permit
- Block Traffic Authorization
Submit completed forms for review by email or drop them off at the District of Kitimat main office. Call the Engineering Department at 250-632-8906 if you have any questions.
Parking Regulations
Read up on parking regulations for recreational vehicles, boats and trailers on residential lots.
Note that the regulations are different between summer (April 1 - October 31) and winter (November 1 - March 31). Winter regulations are more restrictive because of space needed for snow clearing.
