Free Family New Year's Eve |
Each year on New Year's Eve you can bring your family downtown and celebrate with free swimming and skating. Where Children under 7 years of age must at all times be with someone who is at least 16 years of age. |
Gingerbread House Challenge |
Each Christmas season we invite you to get creative and build your gingerbread house masterpiece. Get your friends, co-workers and family to join in too. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

Guns n' Hoses Hockey Game |
All proceeds from this annual hockey game go to KidSport Kitimat.

Halloween Howl |
Get your kids in costume and bring them to some safe indoor Halloween fun. This event includes spooky games, activities and refreshments. Kitamaat Open Basketball Tournament |

Kitimat Fish Derby |

Kitimat Hill Climb |
This event takes place near the end of June each year on Haisla Hill between Tsimshian Boulevard and Kingfisher Avenue. |
Kitimat Show and Shine |
This is your chance to show off your cars, trucks, and bikes. This event takes place at Tamitik Arena the evening before the Kitimat Hill Climb. |
Light Up Kitimat |
Kitimat Chamber of Commerce organizes this annual Christmas event. Where Upper City Centre Mall including parking area When Late November or early December each year. Admission This is a free family event. |
Rail Jam and Winterfest |
These family events takes place at the Hirsch Creek Golf and Winter Club in either January or February, depending on the snow level. The Rail Jam is free to attend, and there is a fee for participants in the competitions. |
