Kitimat's biggest party is coming, no RSVP needed!

Festivals Kitimat puts on Northwest B.C.'s greatest celebration of July 1 and the surrounding season, and you are officially welcomed for the ride!

Follow us here, or on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the latest in our plans and activities to celebrate the nation.

Not sure what to expect? Here's a taste of what Festivals Kitimat supports:

  • A multicultural dinner celebration, on May 4!
  • Kitimat Memorial Hill Climb, a drag-race style event on the Haisla Boulevard hill.
  • Kitimat Show n' Shine event at the Tamitik Arena.
  • Canada Day parade hosted by the Kinsmen Club of Kitimat.
  • A day-long celebration at Riverlodge Recreation Centre.

Free outdoor concert at Riverlodge Recreation Centre on June 30, followed by fireworks!
Concert runs 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

An opportunity to learn about Haisla History and Culture at the Haisla Pavilion located in the Joanne Monaghan Room 1:30-4:30pm  
Free Canada Day cupcakes will be served from the Joanne Monaghan room while supplies last. Access through outdoor entrance.
