The District of Kitimat offers fitness classes and programs for people of all levels and abilities to make it easy to lead an active lifestyle.

Fitness classes and programs

From zumba, circuit classes, pilates, keiser spin cycling or yoga, you can find a program or class to get you moving at Riverlodge Recreation Centre.

  • Any schedule or class is subject to change due to low attendance/registration.
  • Classes may be cancelled at the discretion of the instructor or programmer.

Fees

Fitness class drop-in fees:

  • Fitness drop-in fee $8
  • Youth/student drop-in fee $5

Yin yoga drop-in fees:

  • Adult $15.00
  • Student $11.25
  • Senior $7.50

Yoga drop-in fees:

  • Adult $12.50
  • Student $9.40
  • Senior $6.25

Punch Passes

Cost of a punch pass is:

  • $7/session with a minimum 5 session purchase

The following fitness programs can be used with a punch pass:

  • Bootcamp
  • Cardio Combo 30/20/10
  • Interval Step
  • Keep Fit Circuit
  • Kickboxing
  • POUND
  • Simple Stretch
  • Step ‘n Sculpt
  • Zumba

About punch passes:

  • Can be used if space is available (similar to drop-in)
  • Expire at the end of every season. Spring 2018 passes are valid from Mar. 26 - Jun. 30, 2018
  • Not transferable
  • Non-refundable without a medical reason with a doctor's note
  • Registered participants have first priority

Try it for a toonie

Not sure what class suits you? Try out any group fitness class for a toonie. Subject to space availability.

Does not apply to yoga classes.
