The District of Kitimat, through its Leisure Services department, offers programming year-round to support residents' physical and mental wellbeing.

Our seasonal programs can be viewed in our Kitimat Leisure Guides.

Registering for our programs is easy:

Advertise With Us

We offer a great opportunity for your organization to reach a huge audience in Kitimat and Kitamaat Village. With over 4,000 guides circulating throughout our communities, and thousands of people viewing the guide online, your organization will benefit from this awesome exposure.

The leisure guide is published three times a year:  December, April and August

• Winter: Winter programs, activities, and events for Kitimat
• Spring and Summer: Includes information on local campgrounds and parks
• Fall: Includes the community directory listing clubs and organizations in our area

The leisure guide is distributed to homes in Kitimat or you can pick up a copy at Tamitik Jubilee Sports Complex or Riverlodge Recreation Centre.
