The Kitimat Public Library is located in downtown Kitimat.

The hours are:

Monday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Thursday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Sunday Closed    

There is an after-hours book drop-off box available outside the library entrance.

Library Cards
  • Membership cards are free with either proof of Kitimat or Kitamaat Village residency or by presenting a valid membership card from another BC public library.
  • If you are from outside the province you may purchase a membership for a small fee.
