Skate and Bike Park

Our skate and bike park is located at Nechako Centre.
Open every day, weather permitting, until dark.

Skateboard Park

This park was designed and built with the help of Kitimat youth, and is ideal for beginners through to seasoned skateboarders and bikers.

Note:

  • The skateboard and bike park is unsafe to use when conditions are wet or icy
  • Safety gear is recommended

Indoors

Tamitik Arena has an indoor space for those 13 years of age and up who want to practice on their skateboards, bikes, scooters or rollerblades.

Note: Helmets are required

This opportunity is subject to cancellation due to low attendance or other facility events.

Fees

Schedule
  • 13 to 18 years
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • 19 years and up
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
